To be relevant entails....
To be relevant is to be productive
To be relevant is to be influential
To be relevant is to be profitable to both God and man
To be relevant is to live according to purpose
To be relevant Is to be available for good work
To be relevant is to do what others find difficult to do
Relevance does not happen at the maintenance of norms .Luke 19:4 .
Relevance has to do with consistency in seeking God.
Relevance is a product of Work and work is divided into categories.
Handwork, brain work, legwork and network.Relevance is a function of passion. Psalms 63:1-2" O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; 63:2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary".
The truth about Passion is that it makes men to let go of pressure. Nehemiah and Jacob are casestudies. Passion for God brings passion for glory and more of God. Passion for God lives you uncomfortable with the wrong in his house.
Men of passion can't easily be discouraged 1sam 30
Men of passion never relaxes at little achievement.
Men of passion stires others to action. (Nehemiah)
Passion gives birth to power and Relevance which is not guaranteed without power.CATEGORIES OF power
Economic power
Political power
Spiritual power
Glory is the overwhelming presence of God upon a man to man him different from others. Glory is a covering.
Glory brings honor to a man. Without glory there will be no relevance in life because the absence of glory is the the presence of frustration
If you are not relevant you cannot make others relevant.
