WORD FEAST 2018 : THE COMING GLORY

Text : psalms  3: 3; 145: 4

MINISTER : REV. DR. INIOBONG UDO

- Can we stand the glory of the LORD?

There are  generations that have experienced the glory of God  while others  are  yet to experience the glory of God.

Moses lasted with God 40 days on the mountain and when he came down his face was shining that men could not behold it, that teaches us that the glory of the LORD can rub off on a person.

4 things that happened and is happening in our generation  or 4 things that generations use to affect other generations.

● Environment
Our environment  can affect the revelation of Gods  glory in our lives, maybe from our forefathers

● Culture
Our cultural background can also affect the revelation of Gods glory in our lives

● Habits
Our habits can prevent Gods glory from being established in our lives

● Choice
The choices we make can also serve as hindrances to the revelation of Gods glory in our lives

- A wake up call before the  glory

Before we can experience His glory, There must be a wake up call just like that of the ten virgins in matt 25: 12 .  All of them slept but when the bridegroom  came the 5 with oil in their lamp sprang  up lit their lanterns but those without oil had to  go in search of it. There was a wakeup call for all the 10 virgin's but only 5 where prepared and accepted the call.

- The coming glory is the rapture
This coming glory we are expecting is nothing more than the second coming of Christ to take His faithful saints home, that is when the glory of the LORD shall be fully revealed and all eyes shall see and, we shall be partakers of His glory.
