Topic: No More Darkness
Bible Reading: Genesis 1:5
God’s original plan for humanity was for glory. God begins His day while it is still dark but men wait till it is day for them to start the day. Light/day symbolizes glory that was why God said let the light be called day during the creation story. God’s plan was to give man a new dimension of glory, to beautify man… When we talk about glory we mean becoming an agent of change in your world. There is a decoration that is coming after now and it’s called the glory decoration. Glory means becoming a solution giver… When God said let the light be day He was simply saying I want to introduce you to a new dimension of glory. Anyone that must carry glory must not be selfish for the light simply means an agent of elevation and so anyone with the glory is always hurt when he sees people down and is always in a haste to lift others up.
Let’s look at few characteristics of darkness;
•Lack of productivity: Any man who grow up in the place of darkness is not productive. Peter toiled all night and nothing was caught and I can imagine the embarrassment waiting for him when he gets back home but before he got home for that embarrassment it was taken away. Before that embarrassment will get to you, God will surprise you. A man that is in darkness does not know he is in darkness, he is ignorant of what to do to come out of it.
• Night season incapacitates a man. John 9:4 “…For the night cometh when no man can work” meaning darkness sets a limit. Sin is one avenue that darkness came into the world.
• When you are in the night season, no matter the help sent to you it remains useless.
When your day breaks,God will organize meaningful help for you. Amen
