WHY ME?

A time comes in the life cycle of a man/woman where this simple question is asked by the man/woman with no reply from him/her. The question often comes in a trouble time and sometimes the involved person tend to give up if not properly followed. Little miss Jane lost both parents at age one in a car accident and she survived it, life was hell on earth to her with her uncle in the scene snd then the big question from her “Why Me?”. If it is not you, who else will it be? May I submit to you here that everything happening to us here on earth is but for a purpose and if learn to see the good side in the trouble the better for us. Job in the scripture lost almost everything, yes almost because the wife was still alive in the scene and I can imagine Job asking God “Why Me?” and the reply was still on hold that was why the wife suggested he should curse God and die (Give up). Job realized there was a purpose to the happenings in his life and the scripture records that the end of Job was better that the former. Same thing happened to Daniel which led him to the lion’s den and we all know the end of that story. Each trial we face in life is simply teaching us a leon called Prayer, Patience and Persistence (3P). While in the heat of that trouble instead of giving up or asking why me cultivate the praying habit, be patience for it will not happen just immediately for delay is not denial, then still continue and press on like that woman in the scripture who disturbed the king till the king had to answer he request before she will kill him. No temptation or trial that is heavier than we can carry will God allow to happen to us, this should always be at the back of our minds.

Finally, always see a positive nature in that negative nature and remember there are ome people who will be very happy to be in that your situation. A man without shoe will appreciate God the day he sees a man withot legs. Learn to appreciate where you are and face the fears boldly and never give up.
