PASSION

 Passion! Passion!! Passion!!! This is one word that made Dave appear to be abnormal before his parents even when he was not. Dave will always starve himself just to see to it that his classmates are happy by giving out his lunch. Dave will always give to any hungry being even if the being is a mad being as well as animals. Dave will never be comfortable hearing the bleating of the goat at the back of the house. This went on for as much as Dave was still growing till Dave established an NGO that was solely meant to feed the poor and take care of the less privileged in the society and guess what Dave is happy and fulfilled daily. This is passion in action. The passion to help the less privileged was that of Dave. What is your passion? What drives you crazy? What do you derive joy in doing and can do it by giving up all to it? That is what I tagged “Passion”. With passion you can do the unusual and out of the box things. There are numerous passion if this may be considered but then it is different from addiction. Passion is a driving force, something led to it and then it starts growing.
Passion have made great men go on 40 days fasting/prayer. Passion made a man John Knox to say “Give me Scotland or I die”. Passion made Samuel A. Bill the founder of Qua Iboe church to leave his comfortable home on a missionary journey to Nigeria. The list is endless but then we have to understand that if the passion is not towards saving lives, contributing to God’s kingdom growth and helping humanity then it is not passion. Our society is gradually losing the passion and thus this wakeup call to all especially our youths to grab the passion for the kingdom of God. We need people who will be passionate about doing things for God and will not sleep until it is done. Remember after this passion comes a blessing as none ever serve God passionately and go back empty handed. Therefore ignite your passion today for the advancement of God’s kingdom and remain blessed.
