To everything happening there is a reason. And the scripture rightly said "There is a time for everything..." Sometimes life does not give us what we want but that does not mean denial. With man delay maybe denial but with God it's not so. In that delay there is a purpose and until you appreciate God for it you will never know the hidden beauty of it.
One thing is certain, our actions can either make or destroy the delay. Now while in that delay there are certain keys to note. Always be optimistic (speak positively), never give up even when it appears to be over because it's not over, surround yourself with people that will always encourage you, take your strength from those who waited patiently and most importantly be prayerful. It's the delay from God that brings about a testimony and it's a lasting one. This is how the delay from God works when we apply patience and prayer the two powerful 'P'. It is like throwing stones on an unripe mango. It will take more stones, energy and time to get one down and if you manage to get it you cannot eat it thus all efforts becomes a waste but let's look at the reverse where you wait for the mango to be ripe just one stone or two will fall many down and you will enjoy it. This is how God's delay works. When you are patient and prayerful you will get a testimony at the end thus there is a purpose for that delay. You can confirm that in the delay of the birth of boy Samuel, Isaac and even the delay of Jesus when his friend Lazarus died. There is a purpose for that delay, hold on to God.
