THE GLORY OF GOD

Exo 33:13-23" Now therefore, I pray You, if I have found grace in Your sight, make me see now Your ways, that I may know You, that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people. And He said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest. And he said to Him, If Your presence does not go with me, do not carry us up from here. For in what shall it be known that I and Your people have found grace in Your sight? Is it not in that You go with us? So we shall be separated, I and Your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. And Jehovah said to Moses, I will do this thing also that you have spoken. For you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name. And he said, I beseech You, let me see Your glory. And He said, I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of Jehovah before you. And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will have mercy on whom I will have mercy. And He said, You cannot see My face. For there no man can see Me and live. And Jehovah said, Behold! There is a place by Me, and you shall stand upon a rock. And it will be, while My glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. And I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back parts. But My face shall not be seen.

The term Glory in the Old Testament was called “kabhod" in (Hebrew) and in the New Testament “doxa” in Greek). Translated -Honour, dignity, Splendour, majesty and the bliss of heaven.( meaning the glory of God sponsors the above)

What the glory entails.

1)The Glory is God’s personal presence in someone’s life.

The evidence that God is in your life

2)Glory is the precursor of miracles in one’s life.

3)Glory is the evidence of God in a thing.

4)Glory is the catalyst that compresses spiritual gifts.
  

5)Glory is the baptism for supernatural assignment.

6)GLORY is honour and beauty radiating in you that no man can put off. Facts on the Glory!  

1)Glory can be stolen, Judges 16:19-21.

2)Glory can be polluted,

3)Glory can be defiled,

4)Glory can be emptied,Nahum 2:2 

5)Glory can be transferred,

6)Glory can be exchanged,

7)Glory can depart from a person’s life.

8)Glory can be stripped off. Job 19:9 He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head.
