Topic: Enemies of Glory & Relevance 

Bible Reading: Exodus 33:18, Isaiah 40:5, Psalm 63:2, Job 19:9 

You cannot see the glory but you can only see the manifestation of the glory. Light is seen as glory. The nature and address of God is glory, and glory belongs to only God alone. If there is anything God detest it’s when you try to share His glory with idols. Because you were made in the image of God therefore you are a carrier of glory. The glory begins now and not when you die. God is the giver of glory - Psalm 84:11. Don’t expect all to celebrate you when you are glorious. The birth of Jesus was the announcement of glory but Herod heard it and was not happy - Matthew 2:3. The reason why people don’t celebrate glory is because their heart is wicked, why on earth will people not celebrate glory? 

What Enemies of glory do:

• They gather against glory - Luke 2:4. When they gather you should also gather. Every gathering against your gathering be destroyed. Isaiah 54:15 says “Behold, they shall surely gather together, [but] not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake”. Some of them only hear about the coming glory and they gather. Anything excellent in your life and someone is angry about it, that is glory. One of the thing the enemy is angry about is the gathering of believers that is why he tries to scatter them. 

•They are pretenders and liars - Matthew 2:8. Remember the story of Joseph how they conspire to kill him? Every unfriendly friend God shall expose them, amen. 

•They do anything in their power to counter the glory – Matthew 2:16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men. Some of us need enemies in order to move forward.

•In the case of Joseph, they Hated, Envy and were angry with him. That is what enemies of glory do. 

Prayer: 

• Nobody shall take away my glory and if they do it shall be returned back to me, Amen.

• Every enemy of glory in my life and family shall be dealt with by God, Amen. 

• Every enemy of my glory parading themselves in my life and family, what happen to Herod shall happen to them, Amen.
