WORD FEAST 2018.DAY 23RD

Speaker: Apostle (Dr.) Gabriel Nkenang
Topic: Your Season of Transfiguration
Bible Reading: Matthew. 17:1-21

In Matthew 17:19 the term “Him” was used instead of “it” meaning behind every “It” there is a “Him” and tonight both shall be dealt with in Jesus name. God is a God that promotes and so it is wrong for you to have a better yesterday. Your today is supposed to be better than your yesterday and your tomorrow better than your today. The promotion coming your way is not going to be by certificate or merit but by favour. Jesus had many disciples but he picked just three (3). When God favours’ you He owes nobody any explanation. My own definition of favour is divine partiality… Divinity is about to choose humanity; this is your season of divine favour. Favour distinguishes, it sets apart. Poverty is not humility and the higher you go the cooler it becomes and so those that God have favoured are humbled because they realize they don’t deserve it.

When God favours’ you, people will mistake you for pride but no it’s not but it’s a new level. When God wants to lift a people or a family He lifts just one person and from that one person others are lifted. Don’t you ever be selfish because the reason for living is to touch lives. Don’t disappoint your lifter when you are lifted. Transfiguration is simply change… Just as Jesus was transformed even in their presence, God will transform you – it’s your season of metamorphosis. The most important transfiguration is the transfiguration from a sinner to saint and no matter the amount of amen you shout you need this transfiguration. God wants to transform you and no matter your new year resolution it will not work; you need the divine transformation. If you are truly transfigured you will have a date, venue and time meaning the day, place and place you were saved.
When Jesus was transformed certain things changed in his life:
His face was shining
His raiment changed. (Dress well always).
His company changed.
 • His ministration was transformed.

By company I mean his cycle of friends, everyone in church is your sibling but not all is your friend. The company of Jesus changed from Peter, John to Moses, Elijah…
His ministration was transformed.
